In the middle of a verdant garden where sculptures and contemporary works of art stand out, the Paradis Agricole was designed by the architecture studio Point3architecture. A typical rustic farmhouse from the late 19th century, this traditional Tuscan-style building is located on an eight-hectare farm, with two extensions added to each side of the main building to extend the reception area on the ground floor.

The hotel's interiors follow the atmosphere outside, with contemporary and vintage furniture living in perfect harmony. The hotel has a "family and intimate" atmosphere with just nine rooms. "We wanted to create a relaxing and timeless atmosphere in this green setting between sea and mountains," says Thibaut Julien, co-founder of Point3architecture.

"We designed the reception areas like those of a large bourgeois villa with a multitude of lounges, a library, a billiards room and a huge dining table that can accommodate 18 guests. To give more character and authenticity to the place, we blended contemporary and vintage furniture".

The Paradis Agricole comprises a main building, an annexe house, an independent cinema room and a sauna overlooking the swimming pool set amongst olive trees and Italian cypresses. The nine rooms are immersed in a picturesque garden by renowned landscape architect Jean Mus.
The Point3architecture team chose to work with natural tones, which dialogue with existing materials such as wood and marble, maintaining the rustic atmosphere of the place.

Renaissance splendour and artistic harmony were the main inspiration - "We were inspired by the great Italian Renaissance residences made of exposed beams, terracotta ceilings and Carrara marble", explains Thibaut Julien. "We also wanted to create a link with the first hotel that we renovated in 2021 in downtown Pietrasanta, where the spotlight was given to sculptures and works of art."
