On this year’s edition of EUNIQUE, an event dedicated to craft and design in Germany, Portugal was the invited country and was represented by the projectAldeias do Xisto. 
The participation under the theme Agricultura Lusitana “explored the potential of the agriculture in man’s evolution, on the fixation of places, on the development of the artifacts and of the whole rural culture, material and immaterial, in which is inscribed a large part of the Portuguese identity”. The pieces presented were developed by artisans of Aldeias do Xisto in partnership with a team of national designers.
