This year marks the 50th anniversary of the LC Collection's launch, which has been in production since 1965. Designed by many classic names in the design field, such as Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, this collection by Cassina has been evolving technically throughout its existence, accompanying the Italian company's own evolution and internationalization.

Cassina takes the opportunity to introduce a chrome-free technology for all the structures on LC Collection, and therefore reduce the environmental impact resulting from the production of these pieces. Still in that perspective, the brand launched new versions in organic leather and a new soft micro-fiber fabric alternative.
A new colour pallet was also introduced, the result of a research into the designers' archive (among them the Le Corbusier Fondation). The LC9 stool is also presented in two new seat options, in saddle leather and indian cane. The latter, was designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1927, but only now put into production.
