A new iconic and vibrant space is born in Jersey City. The hotel designed by the New York City-based Stonehill Taylor, is housed in a 10-story bank building from the 1920's and remerges now harmoniously and authentically, by combining contemporary textures with historic lines.

The original 12-foot-tall ornate bronze doors, the marble walls and the travertine flooring highlights the building’s impressive historic features. In a historical ambience, that also manages to be sophisticated and welcoming, materials such as wood, brass and silk mix together with leathers, patterned textiles and natural tones with dark bronze accents.

In the bedrooms, residential-style studio is the most typical layout - the contrasting textures, the soft tones and the strong lighting, unify each one of the spaces into a deliciously relaxing ambience.

Visitors can ascend directly to the upper floor Terrace Level, “where they met with 12-foot-high ceilings and views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline through the wrap-around floor to ceiling windows”, explained the practice. The rooftop lounge, one of the first in Jersey City, boasts amazing views and exudes the feeling of an “urban oasis through extensive planting, natural teak furniture and concrete-like finishes”.
