At the Eixample area in Barcelona opened Disfrutar restaurant, a place that celebrates the Mediterranean cuisine and spirit.
When entering the narrow space, it’s impossible to guess we’ll find a space with more than 500 sq.-m, with bar, dining room, terrace and patio. The Catalan studio El Equipo Creativo, having in mind the indications from the team of chefs of Disfrutar, developed the interiors project. “From the very first encounter they spoke of the importance of quality, naturalness and humility in their cuisine. It is their intention to transmit something of the essence of the Mediterranean sea and people, their respect to its history and heritage, and their admiration to its beautiful privileged nature”, explain the designers.
On Disfrutar we find two separate environments: the entrance space, more active and facing the city, with a bar area; and a more relaxed and natural space, in the interior where the terrace and patio are located, as well as the dinning room. Surprisingly, the kitchen is located at the center, making the connection between the two spaces and allowing for the clients to sneak a peek at the chefs at work.
