His projects and installations are frequently displayed in museums, galleries, public spaces and, especially, in private residences. The fruit of a meticulous manual endeavour that he carries out in his London studio in Hackney, Stuart Haygarth transforms day-to-day objects elevating them to a new artistic level.

How do you like to see yourself: artist, designer or sculptor?
I normally refer to myself as an artist/designer making sculptural work.

What do you seek to explore in what you do?
The majority of my work involves taxonomy, the categorizing of objects, for example, by colour or function. However, I’m also interested in the human association with the objects that I work with.
