Posada del Faro

Remembering ATTITUDE nr 9

Located just thirty meters from the beach, on a gravel dead-end street, this all-white small wonder is the paradigm for peace of mind.
Of its twelve rooms – some of which are private deck-type veranda – one can catch a glimpse of the calmness of the waters of the bay in José Ignácio: here, from July to October, whales can be seen indulging in games of seduction, as they come to find rest.
In the swimming pool, draped with an intense hue of blue, we can savor an ice-cold caipirinha served from the below-ground bar, as we enjoy the prolonged sunset to the shrilling sounds of birds.
Rent a bicycle (or an electric cart, like those used in golf) and wander through the narrow alleys, where time seems to have stood still. Head over to the lighthouse, climb the steep stairway, and observe the scenery all around: it will be the closest that you’ve ever been to Paradise.
