Joana was just 14 years old when her parents decided to rebuild the ruins of an old family home in São Miguel, in the Azores. Previously a stable, in 2013 the project was finally committed to paper and four years later this gave rise to two rural holiday homes.

Surrounded by seductive and peaceful nature on the two hectares of this property, we spot the two guesthouses just a few minutes from the historic centre of Ponta Delgada designed by the Portuguese-Italian studio Mezzo Atelier.
