Located on North Bondi, a eastern suburb of Sydney, Australia, this house wants to be more than just a private retreat for a family of five.

This stunning family residence, designed by the practice CplusC, reflects their lifestyle and the things they love, like entertaining at home and surfing at nearby Bondi Beach.

The concept behind the fully plumbed, self-maintained and LED lit green screens was inspired by the boardwalks of the nearby Bondi to Coogee coastal walk. The feature screens and custom planter beds also ensure privacy from neighbors and pedestrian traffic, while providing a natural green outlook for the home’s occupants.

The residence is divided in two parts: downstairs, the entertaining area with kitchen, dining and outdoor spaces; and upstairs the bedrooms and family bathrooms, where each room enjoys an outlook onto private outdoor green space.

A unique lap-pool abutting a double height social space remains the main attraction of the house, blurring boundaries between the interior and the exterior.
