The touristic complex Troia MED is located among pine trees and very close to the Atlantic, in the peninsula of Tróia, Portugal. Architect Nuno Montenegro, who introduced in the landscape white volumes with an abstract geometry, developed the architecture project.
Composed by six dwellings (3+3), when seen from the sky the complex looks like the drawing of a butterfly laying on a garden. In the interior, the users are surprised with an unrepeatable geometry “allowing for a singular experience”, in the words of the architect.
Every apartment presents a common living room with an integrated kitchen. Outside in garden, there are no fences creating continuity between the built and the natural spaces.
